HOW DO CYFC'S HELP FULFILL CHILD RIGHTS?

Child and youth friendly communities approach child health, development and wellbeing from a holistic, rights-based framework. CYFCs seek to fulfill children’s rights in the spaces that affect them the most and have the greatest potential to impact their lives. By striving to fulfill the commitments outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, communities ensure that children have the best possible start in life and are not only able to survive, but also to thrive and meet their full potential.
